UPDATE: It occurs to me that this makes it sound like I'm making light of what happened to him. That wasn't my intention.

He is getting over a terrible kidney infection which landed him in the hospital. As to the octopus, you'll have to read his post to understand that.

Freefall frustrates me sometimes, because it seems to move so slowly. He's telling a serious story underneath all the comedy, but sometimes he takes comic detours in which nothing important is going on.

A couple of years ago (about a week, in strip time) Florence was inside of the corporate HQ, under the effect of a drug that prevented her from forming long term memories. While there, she saw some things she wasn't supposed to. And she made notes on yellow stickies, which got lost during Sam's rather convoluted rescue plan.

Well, via circuitous routes, those notes have found their way back to her and on Wednesday she's going to read them. Uh-oh!

Now that Jessi's site management problems have been straightened out, she's been blogging up a storm over at Season 1 Episode 1. And it's been good stuff.

I haven't been very diligent about maintaining my blogroll. It's only changed once since I put it up, and that was a couple of months ago when I added Jessi to it. But I feel like her site deserves more attention than it seems to be getting, so I wanted to post a recommendation: go read it.
