Blade and Soul, the plundering
My memory of Blade and Soul was that it was dreadful, but also loaded with gratuitous fan service. In particular the gun-wielding assassin gainaxed the entire time she was on screen.
So it would seem like a natural for plundering for the top rotation. However, y'all have interesting tastes and, for instance, let me know you didn't want me to plunder Queen's Blade.
So how do you feel about this particular show? Worth it? or kryptonite?
Reason I ask is that a full BD rip just came by and I got it.

I've never seen it but the show does look eminently plunderable, though the readers admonition against Queens Blade has me flummoxed. (Perhaps there was a choice given?)
In any event, my vote is to plunder, pilfer, purloin and pillage purposefully.

I made it about five episodes into this when it was airing, and then became utterly bored with it. All I remember is that the story was a complete mess and the cheesecake wasn't enough to overcome it.
Your mileage may vary.

I've been working backwards from ep 12, and yesterday I finished ep 8. It is so heavily depressing, though, that I've been having a hard time sticking with it. Alka, the nominal heroine, is suffering from the worst case of PTSD I've ever seen in anime, reducing her later in the series into a quivering pile of angst.
Early in the series she was just stoic, never showing any expression or emotion. Late in the series she spends all her time crying.
I don't need help feeling depressed, and I'm not sure I've got it in my to finish this.
Maybe I should download To Love-Ru and process that instead.

I gave up. Instead I just ran the rest of Nanoha Vivid and got another 82 candidates.
And I've downloaded the second and third To Love-Ru series and will be taking a look at them tomorrow.

After 13 episodes I've only seen two of those. (One each Haruna and Eve.)

Steven,
the one thing I remember about this series with some fondness was the closing animation, with the innkeeper doing the dance with the fan...

Chooser version 60
Added 152 images from Nanoha Vivid. Total is now 5133.
By the way, a couple of times today when I've tried to load this site using IE 11, Chooser hasn't loaded. That could be because of the most recent Flash update (which I installed yesterday) and it could be because Pixy is messing around with the code. Either way, it isn't my fault and I don't know how to fix it.
UPDATE: In the first seven episodes of Vivid, I think these are my favorite images:
This is Rio kicking Sein into the next county after Sein sneaked up and groped Rio's chest.
After a day of team fighting, the four lolis are too sore to move.
It's nice to see Hayate's family again.
One of the reasons I like this series so much is that it's placed 4 years after Strikers, and it's like visiting old friends. I also like the fact that it gives me a chance to see how much everyone has changed, and in what way.
Lutecia unquestionably has changed more than anyone else, and it's wonderful. Through most of StrikerS she spoke nearly in a monotone and seemed to be depressed all the time. At the very end she started coming out of her shell. In Vivid she's a genki-girl and obviously very, very happy and outgoing. It's wonderful to see.
Caro is continuing her study of magic and has learned how to do teleports. Agito and Rein have grown to normal size -- a huge surprise. Better, they get along now. Agito isn't baiting Rein any more.
Nanoha really has become the mama. She obviously is a very good one. Vivio is happy, healthy, strong, well behaved, friendly and outgoing, and it's apparent that Nanoha loves Vivio more than life itself. (I mean that literally. At the end of StrikerS Nanoha risked her life to save Vivio, and Vivio knows it.)
It's nice to see that Teanna is no longer driven. She had something to prove and it was warping her. Well, she's proved it now. She's become a shitsumukan, which was her goal, and that is no longer haunting her.
I'm really glad that Nove is a major character. She's a lot of fun, and I expect good things from her.
UPDATE: Whatever the problem is with flash and IE 11, it isn't Pixy's fault. I've been having problems with loading flashes on other sites not related to mee.nu. So it's an issue in the most recent update to Flash from Adobe.
UPDATE: I went to the Adobe site and downloaded an even newer Flash update, and now I don't seem to be having problems.

Dear Wonderduck
I think I landed on your blacklist somehow. My comments on your site aren't showing up any more. One of them said it was going into a moderation queue (could you check) but now they don't say anything at all; they just vanish.
I'd appreciate if you could look into it. Thank you.
UPDATE: I think it's possible I got automatically blacklisted for making too many comments in one day.

Nah. He hates me too. I've been getting moderated every time I try to comment there for a while now. I just assumed that he'd blamed me for erasing all those Marty McNeely voiceovers back in '79...but if you're banned too....then I may have said too much.

Have you logged in recently, Steven? I get the same message from your site occasionally, and it goes away as soon as I log in (back in?) to mee.nu?
There is no "moderation queue", that's mu/mee.nu's way of saying log in. Why it would say that when I don't require such things, I dunno. You haven't been blacklisted by me. Neither has Muppet, though the thought has crossed my mind a couple million times...

It's probably the spam filter, but I took a look and the spam filter is proclaiming its innocence.
Are you seeing that "flagged for moderation" message? If so, I'll just turn that off, so that it's a hard switch between good comment and evil spam, with no vague in-betweeny stuff.

Okay, I'll turn off the moderation queue and add some logging to save all comment attempts to a file. If the former doesn't solve the problem, the latter will at least tell me why.

And I tried leaving a comment while not logged in, and got this: "Your comment has been saved, but is flagged for moderation by the site owner. It will appear on this page once it has been approved."
Wonderduck, could you go into the control panel for "comments" and see if my comment attempts are there but are labelled "junk" or "hide"?

Just now I succeeded in leaving a comment! But I wasn't logged in, and I was accessing through an anonymizer (anonymouse).

Also, why do I have problems with Wonderduck's page but not my own?

Midweek drought
This season hasn't been as bad as some. At least there are shows I'm following. But they're kind of bunched on the weekend, so midweek I just don't have a lot to say. For that I apologize.
Fairy Tail comes out on Fridays. Dog Days is Saturday. Nanatsu no Taizai is Sunday. The Fairy Tail manga is Monday. Aside from that, there just isn't a whole lot going on, and anyway I don't always post about them. (I skipped Dog Days last weekend, for instance.) And that's why I often have several-day gaps in my posting.
UPDATE: Rule 34 strikes again! I found a site called "Fapservice" which specializes in keeping track of fanservice in current and upcoming releases. They put together "best of" videos for various series which they post as torrents (which is where I found their link).
They say (or a commenter there says) there's a Senran Kagura OVA coming soon:
Well I'm still really excited for the Senran Kagura OVA. Even though it won't be on BD till April, its gonna air on AT-X this month. Its the first time the Senran Kagura girls' nipples will be shown officially. I can't wait!
Good Lord; I don't rate on the perv scale any more. I guess it's as they say: there's always someone stronger than you, and someone more perverted than you.

I don't think it's just Fairy Tail. I can't remember any of that in any of the big shounen series. Even ones that would do gay jokes wouldn't go there. Or am I just forgetting an example here?

Not really. The only show I can think of that has both a Tournament Arc
and a yuri couple is Negima (Konoka/Setsuna), and that's not a "big shounen series." Welterweight, perhaps.

Does
Strike Witches count as Shonen? Because there are between 1 and 3 yuri couples depending on how you count: Eila/Sanya (for sure), Shirley/Francesca (maybe?) and Wilcke/Sakamoto (maybe?)

Does forlorn love count?
GIrls und Panzer I think is definitely Shonen (if I understand the term correctly, which is by no means certain) and Yukari's attraction to Miho seems to be more than just hero worship. No indication whatever that Miho returns it, of course.

That's two counter-examples then, so yeah, I cede the point. I'll admit that I was thinking "flagship title for one of the big magazines", Naruto, DBZ, One Piece, etc., but Bleach was one of those without question, and Chizuru isn't an arguable edge case. (Head case, oh yeah. But not an edge case.) I think it's fair to put Fairy Tail in this category.
I wouldn't count either Strike Witches or GuP because they're pretty clearly aimed at the otaku crowd, while the flagship titles are aimed at a younger set generally, which was along the lines of my thinking there.
Of course there's an entirely different set of shounen shows which are packed full of as much sex humor as they can cram in...
Honestly, I'm not one to be too picky about the details of romanization - "shonen" and "shounen" both work fine for me. I'm not going to put the accent mark to show a long O, though.

More Fairy Tail grabs
I spent last evening rewatching the "spirit revolt" arc from Fairy Tail (eps 30-43 in the 2014 season). I came up with 80 candidates for the top rotation which I'll process later today.
I know I have a lot of Fairy Tail images already, but that's how it goes.
