The box office has since fallen drastically in weeks two and three, though it remained number one for its second week.

And yes, a fourth film is apparently on the boards.  I've heard Bruce Campbell is to play Mysterio.  Yay for Bruce, boo for Mysterio, one of Spider-Man's lamer villains.

I think the Johnny Carson character is spelled with "C"s--Karnak was one of the Inhumans in the Marvel Universe.  (More caffeine--It's too early in the morning for me to be this geeky.)

5 Why would people be deluded by Spiderman 3?  I went into it prepared to expect mediocrity, the usual fare from superhero movies, and was pleasantly surprised--and afterwards, doing some research, found out that they were actually more canonical in the way the Venom symbiote was handled and the origins of Venom himself than I expected.
