As I expected, the video on the disk is in multiple pieces, so that they can be mixed-and-matched to create play-times of 6-8 hours. I'm gonna intersperse a few pictures, so the whole thing goes below the fold.

Most of it is borderline NSFW.

Here's what they are:

00000.m2ts (101,724K) is the cover art.

00001.m2ts (408,798, 05:01) is the intro. We appear in Hinako's bedroom and she's playing a hand-held video game. She sees us, greets us, changes her clothes, turns out the lights, and goes to bed. Then she talks to us from bed, and spends a lot of time tossing and turning. At the very end she starts sleeping.

00002.m2ts (1,456,860K, 20:53) is her sleeping in various positions, from different camera angles.

All the rest of the files contain what I guess you could call "special events".

00003.m2ts (148,542K, 01:10) is a dream. Hinako nerves herself up to weighing herself, and is pleased by how much weight she's lost. She celebrates with a trip to the refrigerator but catches herself and instead celebrates with some exercises, footage from the first OVA.

00004.m2ts (164,238K, 01:23) is a nightmare. Hinako weighs herself, only this time her weight is up.

00005.m2ts (87,996K, 00:49) is another dream. Hinako is surprised by a visitor (us) while hanging some of her underwear up to dry.

00006.m2ts (109,956K, 01:25) shows Hinako falling out of bed. She wakes up, sees us, and then gets the idea that she want a kiss.

00007.m2ts (69,132K, 00:55) Hinako falls out of bed again. She stands up, leans towards us, and bumps her forehead. She talks to us for a few seconds, and then gets back into bed.

00008.m2ts (216,942K, 03:19) Hinako is having a hard time sleeping. Her eyes keep opening. So we talk for a bit. Then she goes back to sleep.

00009.m2ts (185,226K, 01:38) The camera does a slow pan up the bed, and Hinako isn't in it. She's in the kitchen raiding the refrigerator. Only we catch her at it, and she's embarassed. So she only eats one thing, then brushes her teeth, and goes back to bed.

00010.m2ts (126042K, 02:23) Hinako wakes up, and decides to sing something, presumably a lullaby. She eventually falls back asleep while singing it.

00011.m2ts (216,372K, 01:30) It's morning. The room becomes light. Hinako's alarm goes off. She seems very happy. She talks to us, and then we leave.

00012.m2ts (226,014K, 02:08) It's morning. Hinako sees us, talks to us, and eventually gets mad and yells at us. I think what she's saying is "Wake up! Wake up!" Eventually she shoves her alarm clock at us.

00013.m2ts (3,636K) I'm not sure what this is. It won't play.

00014.m2ts (223,332K, 02:15) Morning. Hinako doesn't look all that happy. She talks to us but isn't angry. Eventually she gets up, and we talk about something, and then we blush after she says something-or-other.

00015.m2ts (202,560K, 01:03) Credits. Based on some of the names going by, looks like they may have done the animation in Viet Nam. Names like "Nguyen Mai" and "Hyunh Ky" and "Thanh Truc".

00016.m2ts (3,552K, 00:04) is an error message.

Overall evaluation? The concept is a stupid one. Of course. And I'm really unhappy with the fact that they didn't re-render for the BD. But the scripting and storyboard are actually pretty good. Within the constraints of a cripplingly small budget and an appallingly stupid concept, I think the director did a darned good job.

It turns out he's quite experienced. He directed Fight! Ippatsu! Juuden-chan!, Sugar, a little snow fairy, Venus versus Virus, Maburaho, G-On Riders, Popotan, Karin, Cosplay Complex, and other stuff, too. That's not exactly an A-list resume, but it does feature a lot of good fan service, and it's not totally terrible.
