Warning

I am being spammed, for the first time since I required logins. This particular vermin has gotten himself an account here. And I can't figure out how to ban him.

I've already cleaned up here three times and I'm sure there will be more.

So until Pixy waves the magic wand and destroys his account, I'll be engaging in combat here. The reason I'm posting this is that it's entirely possible I'll fuck up when deleting the spams and will bag a legitimate comment from one of you.

If so, please forgive me. It won't be because I hate you and want you to go away. It'll be because I'm stupid and careless.

UPDATE: Crisis over.

UPDATE: Apparently not; the war continues. I wonder if the vermin has an unexpired cookie, even if his account has been cancelled, and thus still looks like he's logged in?

UPDATE: No further attacks. I think that was just the corpse twitching.

1 Somehow, his account burned down, fell over, and sank into the swamp.

2 Thank you very much. (But what about the huge tracts of land?)

3 Looks like they're back.

4 It does look like they somehow managed to crack the registration of new accounts, so banning of each one isn't going to help.

5 The names being used for the messages were all different but they were all the same account. I don't think anything got "cracked"; I think some human signed up here and then loaded his spambot with the appropriate information.
