I hate URL shorteners

I'm getting a different kind of flood today. But I don't have the slightest idea where it's coming from. It's two different hashes from a site called t.co and one from is.gd.

There isn't any way for me to trace them back. It's weird that three different strings are being used; makes me think this is moving by email, or twitter, or something. If it were a web site there would only be one getting used.

Post contains 80 words, total size 1 kb.

1 The t.co is the built-in Twitter shortener, so presumably Aziz. The is.gd I am not sure about. Perhaps some clients manage to squeeze it in, although Twitter forces everyone to t.co regardless. It may be coming through Pinterest or something.

2 Actually, forget Aziz, only 61 follower. Peter Ingemi one is in 2k class.

3 That's the one, alright! Amazing...

4 I wonder what caused him to link to me.

5  It's like telegraphic English back in the day. What I wrote was:

You leave me alone and I'll leave you alone. You play fair with me and I'll play fair with you. But if you fuck with me, I'll kill you.

The Twitterspeak version is:

U leave me alone & Ill leave U alone. U play fair with me & Ill play fair with U. But if you f with me, I'll kill you

Which doesn't really save all that many characters.

6 The Otakusphere twitter account is automated - pulls from a bunch of blogs' RSS feeds.  Aziz didn't manually post it... though I can't see why tons of people would be clicking on it.

One needs an excuse to peruse the archives of the USS Clueless?  With any luck, at least one of the clickers learned something...
