Unfortunately, we're getting back into "high school romantic hijinks" with ep 3. Chika and Seiko are turning out to be a real disappointment, even though the show is telegraphing that they're eventually going to join the priestess club.

I didn't notice in the credits that Hayashibara Megumi is doing the voice of Kurako, the oldest of the Hieda sisters and top priestess at the temple. Somehow or other she also ended up being teacher in the homeroom of Yuzu and Hiro, which considering the likelihood of further demon attacks is probably wise.

Allowing Hiro to attend school at all probably isn't wise, of course, but they're not going there. Meanwhile, I could do with a lot less of this:

Please, less "Yuzu is stupid" and more magic and action, OK?

UPDATE:

Chika just doesn't sound like Mustard to me. When I heard Tama, I was sure that was the one. I wonder if Media Blasters loused up the credits and swapped the names?

UPDATE: Nope; I checked the Japanese page for the characters, and they got it right.
