In maybe 20 years, a genius will invent immortality for humans. Because he's a perv, one side effect of it is that all female humans stop aging at physical age 12.
God doesn't like this and decides he has to perform a miracle to prevent it. He sends an angel back in time to kill said genius while he's still in high school. The assassin angel is named Dokuro-chan, and her weapon is a spiked club she calls Excalibolg.
But Dokuro-chan falls for our perv. So she studies up on how romance in our era is supposed to go, by reading mangas about tsunderes. Then she sets up those scenes -- but gets the Tsun-tsun part rather wrong. After making it so that Perv walks in on her while she's dressing, or trips and falls on her, or all those other classic moldy things like that, she proceeds to horribly and brutally murder him with her club. Then she uses her magic to bring him back to life. (Presumably this also cleans up the mess and removes all the blood and body parts.)
It's based on a manga, which has been reprinted. And the covers of the later volumes rather confuse me: I thought Dokuro-chan was supposed to be a loli. How'd she get so curvy?
"Beat-to-death Angel Dokuro" is the five-bladed razor of tsundere shows, and I want nothing to do with the thing. 8 13-minute episodes is 8 too many. God help us, there's going to be a second series, beginning very soon.
Good thing I don't live in Japan. Good thing I don't have a TV. Good thing I don't speak Japanese.

If they'd made the just the opening credits and stopped there, the world would have been much better off.

What does tempt me is the cast. Three of the four top roles are seiyuu I like a lot. Dokuro-chan has the voice of Akina from UFO Princess Valkyrie. And Kugimiya Rie and Kawasumi Ayako are in it.
But ultimately that's not enough.

Oh god, I tried so hard to forget this thing existed. The therapy was progressing nicely, and the lobotomy was successfully performed. Other than a few remaining shock treatments, I had managed to wipe all references to Dokuro-chan out of my brain.
Then you had to post this... AND remind me that there'll be a second series, too.
Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep Hurting.
Thanks, Steven. I'll have to increase the patrols around your area soon...

I bow to your superior dedication to Dokuro-chan.
