Seasonal fire hazard
As usual, all the local pyros are making loud noises. I always worry that someone's going to burn down the neighborhood, but not so much this year. It's been cold and wet all spring and all this week. Usually by July 4 the tall grass on the other side of the creek has turned brown, but right now it's green and rather unflammable. So the odd amateur skyrocket landing in it won't be causing a conflagration.
