Rosario to Vampire capu2 comments

I only looked at the first half or so of the second season, and that only because I was harvesting top rotation pictures, so I didn't know how it ended. Care for a bit of wild-assed speculation?

There are three great demon lords. One of them is Moka's father. One is the headmaster of the school. How much you want to bet that the third is the bus driver? And he's the one who arranged for Our Hero to attend the school?

By the way, Tsukune isn't human any longer, is he? He died and was revived by Moka's blood, and that means he's truly a monster now. I think I read that he was a ghoul, but that making ghouls was a terrible crime in the monster world, so his identity still has to be kept secret.

1 I don't remember Tsukune being a ghoul or not, but I'm with you on the Bus Driver.  He's definitely got the "I don't just read the script, I write it!" look to him.

I honestly don't know how things panned out in the manga it's based off, though.  But it could be interesting to check.

2 I believe the "ghoul" line was canon in the manga.  I don't recall any changes being made specific in the anime.

And wouldn't his monsterfication break the original point of the show, that his monster girl harem was attracted to him because he was a human (so he smelled like dinner/prey, when all the other males at the school just smelled like "normal" monsters)?  Especially if he's a ghoul in the D&D sense; being a carrion-eating undead would have to change your innate Old Spice a bit.  Maybe the manga explained that, too.

3 It was ignored in the manga. But my understanding is that only Moka was attracted by his smell.  Kurumu started out because of jealously of Moka, then developed feelings for Tskune, and I never did figure out what Mizori and Hikari (?) saw in him.  Besides which, the latter is human too; it's just that witches are considered exempt-by most.

The happenstances of him becoming a ghoul are different in the anime, but it happens in both.  In the manga   So he has a normal diet.

4 The witch is Yukari.
