Heavy Object would be interesting - but the problem I have with it (Having tried to read the light novel series the anime is based on.) is something that I have when trying to read any works by Kazuma Kamachi - I do not get the magic that makes them popular.  Some of them can not even claim to be very imaginative, for that matter - The Zashiki Warashi of Intellectual Village series seem to descend way too often to stereotypes and clichés in the course of the story - that it appears the only reason why they would be popular is because they were written by the same author who wrote A Certain Magical Index.

When Battletech appears to have a better thought-out storyline than Heavy Object, you know there is a problem.

2 I'm thinking maybe Komori-san, Lucifer, JK-Meshi, Fushigi na Someta-chan. One-Punch Man, absolutely. Otherwise, too many pre-rejected sequels for bad shows. Way too many.

3 It's been a while since we've had a season as bleak as this one. The only show I think I might end up watching beyond one episode is Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry. I figure there's about 1 chance in 10 that it will be worthwhile. The rest are a lost cause; they may be good for plundering but they won't be worth watching.

4 Steve, you're not the target audience for One Punch Man.  I read both version of the manga and cannot wait for it myself.
You may want to give Heavy Object a shot as it's based on the novel written by the guy who did Magical Index.

5 Komori-san is the only one I plan to watch.  I was *slightly* engaged by Heavy Object and Valkyrie Drive until I read more about them.

You better believe I'm not. But I've already had one person tell me I had to watch it because it was sooo coool... and I wanted to head that off.

I don't care who wrote it; Giant Mech wish-fulfilment shows are off my list.

7 It's been a while since we've had a season as bleak as this one.

I was wondering how long it would take for you to say this, since you invariably say it every season.

8 We had a really good summer - I've been following three shows week-to-week, which never happens.  So this meh fall season is double meh by contrast.

9 I was mostly playing (reading, really) Fragment's Note on iPad (purely by accident - it's in Google Store too but I forgot to check before I bought from iTunes). That left me little time for anime. I'm 2 weeks behind on Cinderella Girls.

Cinderella Girls is being bumped by a special for this week, and two weeks from now.  So you have plenty of time to get caught-up.
