Plastic Memories

This is described as:

In a future not too far away, androids that look exactly like humans begin to spread across the world. The android production company SA Corp. produced Giftia, a new kind of android that has the most amount of emotion and human-like qualities out of any other model ever seen. However, due to problems in technology, the androids have a service life, and once they pass that, it gets pretty bad. For this reason, SA Corp. creates a terminal service in order to retrieve Giftia that have gone past their service life. A new employee at the terminal service named Tsukasa Mizugaki forms a team with the Giftia Isla to retrieve the other androids.

I won't be watching this show, because I've already seen it. It was called "Najica Blitz Tactics". And the Giftia were called Humaritts.

1 Respectfully, I must disagree. There are no panties in Memories. No guns, either, at least not yet.

I was even rather touched by the end of the episode, but I admit I can be pretty easily manipulated by certain things.

This is a fairly old story premise, but it seems that the show is handling it fairly well.

There was even a bit of humor

Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

3 And I won't be watching Nanoha, so we're even.

4 I tried an ep. Looks like it might be good, but at the same time, super duper not a Den Beste show candidate. Sometimes you get a death flag; sometimes you get a couple; Isla has an entire drill team on the field, waving death flags in formation as the band countermarches while playing Taps.

That's supposed to be a good thing?
