Moonphase -- last ep

I eventually gave up on Moonphase but I did notice that included in the box were some booklets which contained episode summaries. Tonight I read them, and it looks like it was just as well that I did give up.

However, the description of the last episode seemed a bit... off... so I got curious, and I'm watching it now.

Hooleee shit. Talk about surreal. I haven't seen anything this bizarre since the last episode of Evangelion. The difference this time is that they're playing it for laughs, but I'll be damned I know what the deal is. Presumably we'll find out when Hiromi shows up. The pamphlet says she does show up. Um...

UPDATE: That was an omake, wasn't it? I sure as hell don't understand it otherwise.

Ye Gods. I am utterly bemildred.

UPDATE: Actually, there is one possible explanation: Seiji has completely lost his mind, and what we see in that episode is his delusionary world. So he's the one who's bats, not me.

2 My roommates and I just finished watching Moon Phase a few days ago.  So my roommate goes to bed after the last episode (the real one) and I just leave the DVD going, figuring I'll turn it off in a little bit.  So the last episode (the crazy one)starts, and I get up to tell my roommate there was one episode left.  He comes back in but, within a couple of minutes he gets up and says, "I'm going to bed."

I wish I would have done the same.  I liked the show overall, not a fan of the last episode...except for when Grandfather goes fishing.  I thought that outfit was hilariously stupid.

3 The only memorable thing I can remember about the whole series is the line, "Show's over! Now go buy some merchandise!"

4 I am utterly bemildred.

The "other" Walt, the one that didn't do moving pictures, is proud.
