The original fansub circle who did the early episodes of Macademi Wasshoi finally got back in gear and finished the series. I had previously downloaded ep 10 but knew that if I watched it I'd immediately want to watch ep 11, so I waited until ep 11 became available to me -- via my anonymous benefactor. (Thanks)
And I was right. As of the end of ep 10 I damned well did want to watch ep 11. I just finished it, and I'm going wow! wow! wow!
There better damned well be another series, because they've left a whole bunch of plot threads open. And they're hinting at some of them in the OP and ED images, which contain scenes we haven't seen.
In the ED there's a picture that shows girls laying on the sand at the beach: Falce, Tanarotte, Suzuho, and Suzuka, both at the same time. Clearly the real solution to their problem is to separate them, but to do that they'll need a second body, somehow. The ED hints that that's eventually going to happen.
If, in the alternate reality, Takuto was able to create Tanarotte anyway, then clearly the potential is there for him to create another body so that Suzuho and Suzuka can split. And to do it with technology, so that Suzuka's magic-suppression ability doesn't prevent the process from happening.
Still, there's more backstory there which hasn't been told. Why are two people together in a single body, anyway?
The biggest mystery in the episode is Sakuma. When he was fighting with the head kami and head demon, they suddenly realized he was more than they thought. He probably isn't human. It's not really clear just what he is, though.
What we do know is that he is able to invade the simulation, enter it somehow or to change it remotely.
It's that little boy, who drew all those pictures that shouldn't exist, and asked deep and important questions that made Takuto start thinking. At one point he casts a shadow that looks like Sakuma. Was it really him?
Or could it be that Eineus hacked the simulation? ...I rather like this idea; that could be it. Maybe that was what she was working on before the other three took off to try to rescue Takuto.
I could go forward now and watch ep 12, but I think I'm going to watch ep 11 again.
UPDATE:
But they aren't necessarily right. I wonder if there's a larger, higher level meta-divinity of some kind? Sakuma mentioned Lucifer when he was fighting against Ag and Gab, just before he blasted them. I'm wondering about whether it's the case that Maria isn't really alone at her level of the hierarchy.
Maybe she has a husband. And a son.
UPDATE: Man, there really better be another series, some time soon! There's so much more story to be told, and I want to know how it turns out!
Unfortunately, that doesn't guarantee that it'll happen. Fruits Basket for instance, only covered about the first 35 chapters of the manga, and they never did any more of it.
UPDATE: Don doesn't agree with me on this episode.

Steven-
Are you sure there's an episode 12? I came away with the impression that episode 11 was the last, at least for this round. But I will happily be corrected.

HAH!! Now that looks like it will be a good episode!!
I really like the zaniness of this show, but it does have that "undercurrent" that makes it interesting, too.
