Macademi Wasshoi -- ep 1

A friend (Thanks, dude!) gave me a copy of the first episode of Macademi Wasshoi so I could watch it for myself. If Crunchyroll was selling it legitimately, I'd buy it, the way I bought Strike Witches.

The first episode was wonderful. Magnificent. It was interesting to see how terrified everyone was of Suzuho -- and then eventually to find out why, and to see that the fear was justified.

Tanarotte was fun before her brain turned on, and fun (in a different way) afterwards. But the change was a bit of a shock.

Man, there sure was a lot of damage to that part of the school!

This kind of comedy setup can easily go off the rails, but I have a good feeling about it. I think it's going to be great.

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on my download site to see if they pick it up. My bet is that they will, but you never know.

UPDATE: Rewatching. It's odd to hear Suzuho saying "temee". Cute little girls aren't supposed to use language like that.

Sadly, they're selling Kurrogane no Linebarrels instead.  And believe me, it's really sad.

4 Given that this one is being fansubbed, they probably will carry it. But not legally, and I won't give them money for an unlicensed fansub.
