4 The hate was amusing at first, but I eventually I stopped paying him attention in part because of that. Coincidentially he dropped out of #animeblogger soon thereafter.

5 I think he kind of maxed out on being jaded and snarky quite a while ago. These days, it feels like he thinks that's his brand.

6 I think it's wonderful that we have access to so much anime we can turn our noses up at some of it.  Compared to the dark days when they still called it Japanimation, we were grateful for anything that came our way, be it Gundam or Doraemon.

That said, I wish there weren't so much suck out there.
