No adult admitted without a child

"Real Life" and bronies.

JTFish writes about the show.

Myself, I don't see the thrill. Maybe it's because I don't have a kid. (Of course, I'm the guy who still wants a Guchuko plush. But that's different; she's got an axe.)

UPDATE: Also here.

2 Actually, I can't, because I don't own a TV.

3 It's safer that way.

What I wonder is if Japan will end up with the same Bronie problem, or will it even be popular with the intended audience.  That's my interest in this rare animation import to Japan.

Conveniently for you, Steven, all the episodes are on Youtube!

I like the show because it's actually funny, and, like the old Bugs Bunny cartoons, are full of stuff for the kids, while actually not being too dumb for the adults.  Also, it's full of references, including an anvil drop.

There's even a number of good songs, like Winter Wrap-Up and Babs Seed.

I think in Season 3 they let the brony thing go to their heads and went a bit overboard, but overall it's a gentle, funny show that doesn't beat you over the head with the lesson, but is just downright hilarious.
