Kamen no Maid Guy -- speculation

I've decided not to put it off until the last minute this time, so I'm beginning preparations for the next update to the top rotation.

I'm going through Kamen no Maid Guy taking frame grabs.

As I was watching, I began to wonder: Is Kogarashi a cyborg? Or a full android? Considering all his unusual abilities and suchlike, it makes me wonder whether he's really human. (Not to mention his... weird... attitudes and behavior. And his amazing ability to soak up damage without needing a hospital stay to recover.)

Meanwhile, a different question: what kanji is this?

I picked out that it contains the radical that's on the left side of 礼 but I can't figure out any of the others. I think it's 11 strokes, but I'm not very good at counting and it could be anything from 9 to 13.

UPDATE: Aha! It's 殺. It turns out to mean "kill, slaughter, murder, hurt" which is about what Naeka is feeling at that moment. (And I was wrong about that radical. But I got the stroke count right!)

UPDATE: In ep 4, Kogarashi summons and controls a flock of crows. Maybe he's a demon.

I'm not actually watching it. I'm scanning through it with the sound off and the subtitles disabled. Sometimes I see something strange going on and get curious, so I turn the subtitles on long enough to figure it out.

But I'm having a hard time believing the blonde loli is the one behind all the murders. My money's on Naeka's younger brother as being the real villain. (Not really, though. Really my money is on them not bothering to explain any of it.)

As to liking or not liking it? That has nothing to do with top rotation pictures. All that matter is if there are good pictures of reasonably cute girls.

4 Like I said long ago, you'd think they'd notice their distinct lack of cousins, based on that first episode explanation.  But that doesn't matter; it's all about the setup.  And yeah, Kogarashi isn't explained either.  Note that if he's a demon, he's got rocket boots in the last scene of the series. 

I actually found this series to be quite funny at times, in an over-the-top, don't-take-it-serious manner. But don't try to analyze it.
