Pete's got a picture up of three giants and a bunch of dwarfs. The three big ones are shows he considers iconic -- but the little ones are so small that they look like computer icons. I can't recognize them all. From left to right:
???
Martian Successor Nadesico
Vandread
Stellvia
???
Crest/Banner of the Stars
Ranma 1/2
Kamichu
???
Shingu
Tenchi Muyo: Ryo Ohki
??? (Kanon?)
Ai Yori Aoshi
???
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Rocket Girls
How'd I do? (It's scary just how many I do recognize, isn't it?)

Pete added the answers to his original post.
Pete, the original OVA is officially titled "Tenchi Muyo: Ryo Ohki". I've never understood why, though. That character is certainly an important and interesting one, but she's not the primary focus of the series, not even in a "palmed ace" sort of way. (Tenchi himself is the palmed ace.)

Pete, you live in Albuquerque now?
Well, someone has to say it, so we'll get it out of the way: Watch out for that left turn!

We might be talking about different things.
If you miss that left turn, you could end up in Scotland. Or Spain. Or the Arctic. Or the Ozarks.

The thing most shocking for California drivers in Albuquerque is the lack of left turn arrow. It's quite easy to follow a massive, view-blocking SUV for a left turn only to find that he cut it right in front of the oncoming traffic barreling down the opposite lane.
