Fall season yet?

Is it time for the fall season to begin, yet? It's really been dull around here, because the summer season was such a loser.

Not that I really know why I'm looking forward to the fall season; I already know it's going to be a bust, too. But hope springs eternal and maybe some show will pleasantly surprise me.

I suppose I could try to find another mystery meat title to write about...

1 Based on the last couple seasons, I don't expect anything really good this fall.  However, if the anime-fairies were to grant you a wish, what sort of show would you be most interested in seeing this year?

2 For a moment I thought you said, "another mystery meat title to whine about". <P>Then I decided either word would have worked.

Siergen, there are several sequels I'd really like to see:

Railgun
AsoIku
Macademi Wasshoi
Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou
Kore wa Zombie desu ka
the Strike Witches movie
Saki

...and I wouldn't really mind a sequel to Dog Days, either.

4 I got my extra helping of Kimi ni Todoke and there's more Hidamari coming, so only fair for you to get a sequel to at least one of those.

5 I've only run across one preview so far, oddly drawn up as a giant sheet of trading cards.

7 Well, to be fair, it was less a review, more a list and some snark.  But I do need to do a follow-up -- there's been a few announcements here and there, and a few PVs posted too.

At this point I'm looking at
Fate/Zero
Mirai Nikki
and possibly a couple of the fanservice shows.
If I get "pluck my eyeballs out bored" I might even watch Shana.

8 I went to visit Ana-sempai on the weekend, and she said she's looking forward to Persona 4, of all things. I knew that playing Lux-Pain would damage her brain...

9 I'm curious about Last Exile, having recently seen the original via Netflix (soon to be renamed, btw).

Good thing I've got a backlog.  I've even grabbed some old series (DearS, currently.)

The Last Exile sequel might be getting more attention if it was an actual sequel.  But people seemed uncertain of due to supposedly almost everything being changed.

I am looking forward to Fate/Zero and the Persona 4 series.

11 Also, I, for one, have a strict NO-GONZO policiy established for a good reason and it is not to be cancelled until I see concrete evidence that they learned their lesson.
