Fall 2011

Ubu's got a preview of the Fall 2011 season, and now that I've read it, I almost wish I hadn't.

The only thing on there looking even mildly interesting to me is Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinesai, and that only because it's virtually guaranteed to have lots of fan service. It's a sad note when the only thing I have to look forward to is an eroge adaptation.

1 Nothing really jumps out, but I'll watch Fate/Zero and Working'!! because I enjoyed the prequels to some extent. I'll probably also give Tamayura ~Hitotose~, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai and C Cubed a go.

2 Oh, God, not Shana again. Also, Fate and Nikki? Blech. I think I'm gonna go with Working!!, BoToSu, Ika Musume and Bakuman. Hopefully it will be better than this summer.

3 Ubu is not listing it, but DiGiKerot says IM@S is going to continue into the second cour. Since I only unretired for idols, I guess I'm going to stick with it.

4 Oh c'mon, how can you not love the idea behind Ben-To?  No holds barred Supermarket Survival Battle?

I've been waiting for Mirai Nikki ever since the promo came out... um... a year ago?

Fate/Zero?  Mmm... tasty, tasty Grail War!

Good lord, Tamayura ~Hitotose~ sounds like someone broke into Pond Central, took one look at all the slice-of-life shows I own, and decided to create an anime just for me.

5 I'm glad that you're happy.

6 Mirai Nikki "OVA" was back in December.  Going back to watch it reminded me... it's not just Gasai Yuuno -- all the women in that series are bughouse nuts, with the possible exception of #8.

I didn't list any continuing series, since they weren't in Crunchy's list, but it looks like the big three are going to continue: Bleach, One Piece, and probably Naruto.  At least I've seen nothing about any of them ending. Also Fairy Tail has been picked up for a third year..

I joined CrunchyRoll last January in a fit of conscience, but haven't used it. Now I can't find my password.

I've tried three times to have them send me email so I can change it, but I don't receive it. I fear that Comcast may be canning it as spam.

8 Easy streaming has a certain effect for lowering of barriers. I would not bother with downloading Nichijou, but watching it on Crunchy is acceptable.
