Although my brother's laptop works, it's big and clunky. The next plan was to get a netbook, but going through the newegg lists, I suddenly realized that I didn't want to spend several hours removing cruft. The new plan is to use my HP Slate, and that's what I'm typing this on.
IE can magically lose everything you type, so I'm posting in pieces. Since the Slate is full Win7 with IE, I don't have any compatibility problems.
TV is just as bad as I remember it. There have been ads for something called XFINITY which seems to be about putting cameras in your house and makingg it so you can remotely control the heat and lights, through a web browser. A million boy hackers are rubbing their hands with glee.
I'm doing laps. Every hour or so I go out for a walk, or roll on my wheel chair. The chair is good exercise for my left arm and hand.
That's all for now. This was mainly to prove that I can post with Saten.

And then I wedged it. I turned it on, then off again before it finished booting. Next time I turned it on, "The last boot didn't succeed. Do you want me to delete and boot cold? please use arrow keys and enter to choose. "
This on a tablet. It needs a USB keyboard for about 10 seconds. There's one in my apartment, and I'll have to get my brother to fix it. Sheesh. I guess I'll keep his laptop, just for this.

And fixed. There is a tower in one of the offices which has a USB keyboard.
I see on ANN news that there's going to be a third season of Dog Days. Not too surprising, but welcome news nonetheless.

I've been visiting here a lot to see what picture I'll get. I guess that works.
The Fire is not a totally satisfactory web browser. It's keyboard doesn't have an underscore, and if there's a comma, I cant find it. Saten's keyboard is complete, and it has a larger screen.

There should be a "shift" key as well to put you into numeric mode; from there, most of the common symbols are available. You may also be able to long-press regular keys to get alternate keys/symbols.
