One of my neighbors is crazy

So I just opened my deck door because I wanted to take a clean picture of the creek:

And it's forty-brrr degrees out. And one of my neighbors has a charcoal grill going and is grilling some meat. I could definitely smell it.

1 Sounds like grilling weather here!

My winter grilling is usually cut off by "too much ice on the deck".  (Walking back and forth to a 500-degree metal box on a sheet of ice just doesn't seem like a good idea.)  I do quit when it gets down to 10 or so; too hard to control the temperature.

This might just mean that most Minnesotans are crazy.  Or that your neighbor is a transplanted Minnesotan.  Or both.

2 I was going to say much the same as Mikeski.  There's nothing like grilling hamburgers and bratwurst on a Bears/Vikings Sunday when it's snowing and the temps are threatening to go over 20°F...

Yes, there was beer involved, why do you ask?

3 Or maybe the beavers are getting more sophisticated.  And aggressive.
