The best online "fight contest" site was the World Wide Web Fight. Alas, the guys who did it got tired of it, after something like 200 matches, and quit.
The best alternative today is "Comic Book Universal Battles", but it isn't a very good choice. Problem is that a lot of the people who vote in it are idiots. For instance, they had Ayeka win against Android 18. Which is absurd: 18 can blow up planets.
The DBZ series is legendary, especially in the later parts of it, for completely preposterous power levels of nearly everyone involved. By the Majin Buu saga, you've got people operating literally at god-like levels. The Saiyajin are all at levels that put the Kaioshin himself to shame -- and he's the top power in the afterlife. And the topmost case of that happens as part of the Majin Buu saga. With Buu having absorbed Piccolo, Gohan, Trunks, and Goten, and with all their power being added to his own, the only way to face him is to use fusion. Goku and Vegita use magical earrings given to them by the dai-Kaioshin and fuse, creating Vegito.
One of the current battles pits Vegito against the Hulk. This is no contest. I know all about the Hulk, and this battle would take about 20 seconds, leaving the Hulk looking like a smashed watermelon.
But I'm willing to bet big money that the Hulk will win it, since winners and losers are the result of member voting.
Oh, well. They do have a few going now that sound pretty interesting:
Dexter versus Harry Potter
Lara Croft versus Faye Valentine
But any time anime faces DC or Marvel, DC or Marvel will win, just because.
CBUB just doesn't have the same kind of wit that WWWF used to have in its matches. Classic battles like "Red shirted ensigns vs. Stormtroopers". Or "Jeannie vs. Samantha". Or "Lara Croft vs. Duke Nukem". The point was to pick matches which really seemed pretty close, or at least not obvious. Even "John McClane vs. The Deathstar".
Man, the web just ain't what it used to be, you know? (Dumb kids. Get off my lawn!)

Geez, I hate DBZ with the burning passion of a million supernovae, and even I know that most of the cast would be able to smoke the Hulk... unless you're talking the Gray Hulk, who might be able to hang in there for a while. Even he'd lose.
Assuming DBZ characters are using magic, they'd take down Superman in a heartbeat, too. Of all the Marvel/DC characters out there, the only ones who could keep up with the DBZers might be Doomsday and Dr Strange.
Maybe.

One time they did Superman versus Goku. (I don't remember where in the DBZ canon they picked the Goku.) There was a server crash so we never got any result for that one, but I bet Superman won it.
They also did Supergirl versus Ryoko (Tenchi Muyo) versus Eiko (Project A-ko). It was pre-crisis Supergirl, Ryoko with three gems, and Eiko without her magical wrist-guards which reduce her strength.
Supergirl won it, of course. My opinion is that Ryoko would have smoked Supergirl. If Ryoko had three gems, then two of them would have been the two that had most of Washuu's power in them. And arguably that would have made Ryoko magical -- and Kryptonians pre-crisis were vulnerable to magic.
Anyone here old enough to remember the term "Marvel Zombie"? I just looked it up on Wikipedia and it seems that Marvel coopted the term for a really strange series. Originally it was coined to refer to fanbois who automatically bought every single comic book that Marvel released. DC has its own equivalents, or did.
"Must. Vote. DC. Must. Vote. DC." They saw Supergirl in a contest against characters they probably had never heard of, and automatically voted for Supergirl. grumble...

I just took a look, and it seems they ran the Goku vs. Superman battle again a couple of times, and Goku won it both times. My lack of faith in their voters is disturbing... (choke, choke)
Looks like they run a lot of these several times. Goku has two matches against the Hulk and lost them both.

Ah, found it. I'm not even sure I believe Supergirl wins against Eiko, though that's a lot closer. Supergirl has the advantage of flight, but Eiko (nominally the love child of Superman and Wonderwoman) is probably stronger, and she has truly astounding battlefield awareness. Supergirl's heat vision and cold breath would avail her nothing, because she'd never be able to hit anything with them.
Supergirl probably has the edge against Eiko, but no way she does against Ryoko.

Now, if it were Sasami, that would be different.
Lara Croft vs. Faye Valentine would be interesting, because both of them would cheat.

Anyway, I think things like the Tenchi Muyo cast. . .

. . .losing to everything down to Darth Vader confirmed that, yes, voted fights are utterly worthless.

That's certainly one of the more egregiously stupid results.
Another was Goku defeating Gogita. Gogita is from DBGT and it's another merger of Goku and Vegita. Gogita has all the skills of both, and the combined power of both. Anything Goku can do, by definition Gogita can do better. So how could Goku win?
But that's what they decided.
