How many thousands of hours of television have been wasted on a loudmouthed Ninja wearing Orange coveralls?  (I tried watching that, but Nested Flashbacks during a fight scene is just BAD.)

4 Ah yes, the Highly Conspicuous Ninja.  Though to be fair, its not like her outfit is *that* bad, if you presume she has cinematic ninja super skills, and can appear and disappear largely irrespective of exact color camouflage.  There certainly have been much, much worse ninja outfits.

6 She looks completely harmless. I see no weapons. I do not feel threatened when she suddenly appears out of the darkness. And I seem to have difficulty providing a clear description of her face. If that doesn't describe the perfect ninja, what does?

8 Eh, she's got a sword visible on her back, she's not *totally* unthreatening.  I'm just saying, her outfit is subdued colors.  Its not blinding bright, and its not midnight black.  Its not even close to the worst ninja "dress uniform" I've seen, taking into account being worn by a buxom catgirl/doggirl.

I think Yukikaze is a fox-girl. It's also possible that she's a minor deity. There is dialog in eps 10 and 11 which imply those things. She's been alive for a very long time and she may be immortal.

11 The Wikipedia entry for the series has her as a å¤©ç‹ (tenko), so either way, she's a divine fox.
