Sekirei Pure Engagement -- ep 02

Just as was the first Sekirei series, the second one is a rich source of top-rotation frame grabs. For instance:

And just as was the first series, the story line is a idiotic mess. It's an example of a series which seems to think that fan service will excuse craft failure in story telling.

Of Minato's harem, Matsu is the only one who has any kind of maturity, and only when she's serious. Musubi and Tsukiumi look like they're adults, but they act like 10 year olds.

Fortunately, characterization isn't a factor when it comes to the top rotation. I've got 52 frame grabs from the series so far, but about half of those I can't use, for various reasons. (Like, for instance, many of the ones I used in the previous post.)

UPDATE: By the way, I hope someone kills Benitsubasa, the vicious bitch. Next time Yume shows up, she might do it.

I'm not really sure I'm going to be able to force myself to watch this whole thing. The brain damage is already palpable.

1 Benitsubasa? I thought Karasuba was the vicious one.

2 The latter half of the second season was a total trainwreck and completely different from the manga.   Stupid doesn't begin to describe it, whereas in the manga we see Minato start to man up, and use strategy.  Not only do his sekirei fight better because he doesn't treat them like pawns, he actually works out ways for their powers to complement each other.  For instance

3 Karasuba is vicious in a different way.
