Been a while since I've done one of these. Someone said that To Love-Ru was a good candidate, and the sequel was even better, so I downloaded the sequel and I've been going through it. I have subtitles turned on but the sound off, and I'm scanning faster than normal through most of it, and doing a lot of skipping.
Motto To Love-ru is episodic. There's no long term plot at all as far as I can tell, through episode 6. Each broadcast episode is divided into three parts, which stand alone. It also feels very, very derivative.
Lala's inventions remind me of Skuld, including how they're named. Yami should be wearing a sign that says "I am not Fate Testerossa, but I play her on TV." Murasame reminds me of the ghost in Keroro Gunsou, and the episodic nature of the show reminds me of KG, too. As to Rito, the punching bag in the middle, he has a hundred clones in various romcoms over the years. The "teleport naked" device is stolen from Inukami.
But there are girls, and sometimes they are naked. (Or ABN "all but nipples"). So, NSFW below the fold.
UPDATE: The show really does feel like Keroro Gunsou, except that nearly all the aliens are sexy girls instead of frogs. The inventions also remind me of Kururu.
UPDATE: Actually, it also rips off Urusei Yatsura pretty seriously.

"I am not Fate Testerossa, but I play her on TV."Fate's a copy of Eve from Black Cat, then. (the TL-R page on TVTropes says "Yami is Black Cat's Eve; not only do they share the same seiyuu, but also the same powers, mother, origin, and (spoilered thing)." I really need to watch Black Cat sometime...
ABNFor the ones that are younger in-universe; they keep Mikan and Yami well-fogged. Partly because Tokyo was dorking around with one of their hide-your-hentai laws about the time this came out, if I recall correctly.
