1 Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Seems on topic, maybe?

I had a grocery delivery yesterday, and I included a pumpkin pie. Only I didn't look carefully when I ordered it, and it turned out it was uncooked. I also wasn't careful when I opened it, and before cooking the filling was liquid. It went all over the place.

Ah, well, it's all in the trash. But I'm OK; I still have two eclairs left. So I'm going to eat one now.

3 The green-haired one, or are you saving her for last?

4 I believe this should become part of CBET's standard protocol for announcing the demise of promising cosmic events.

Raise everyone's...spirits, as it were.

5 Two duck pictures?  Am I on the right blog?

My turkey day actually featured a roasted chicken, of which I ate half.

6 Not to rain on everybody's nudity parade, but ISON might actually not have died.

7 What an indecisive comet.  It should be a Harem series MC.

Hey, I brought it back on topic!

8 No love for the main heroine? (She's been called a battleaxe, but her character design is supposed to be the classic Japanese beauty as opposed to the usual anime ingenue.)

10 Muon, I didn't include her because I think she's ugly.

11 It's not surprising that something emerged on the other side from ISON perihelion, and now it's looking like it's a cloud of dust and debris.

12 That's what a comet looks like stripped of all it's water, probably.

But it's the ice that holds it together, and almost certainly that's all gone now.

I read that it'll be a few days until they can look at it with the Hubble. When we can, we'll learn a whole lot more.
