Angel Beats -- finish

Angel Beats was a show which started out intriguing but soon lost my interest. I've been following along as other bloggers have blogged about it, and Aroduc just made his post about the last episode (spoilers).

I've been downloading episodes as the show has gone along, just in case the ending turned out to be awesome, so that I could mainline the show if need be. Now it looks as if I won't be needing them. The show ending pretty much completely wasted the potential.

But she was there before he showed up. Maybe she got his heart, but she must not have lived very long after that. Either there was a long pause between his death and when he showed up in that place, or else she died first -- which, evidently, she could not have if she got his heart as a transplant.

Sounds like that writer wasn't paying much attention to things like "logic"; he was just trying to pull everyone's emotional strings. Screw that; if I wanted logic-free tear-jerking I'd be watching Princess Nine.

1 IMO the show has some serious flaws, but the ending can be explained.

2 Oh no, I just see a GIF graph for one unnecessarily convoluted theory. Some people seem to really like complication for the sake of complication.
