Ah, Japan, what are you doing to us next?

And the latest game to come out of Japan is "Boob Wars".

At the beginning of the 22nd Century, an anomaly began occurring in the bodies of women...All the women of the world became either E Cups and up or A cups and under.

And so they divide into two tribes, which are perpetually at war. You play Takamura Manabu, a guy, and your mission is to seduce the queens of the two tribes so as to bring the war to an end. (How such seduction would bring peace is beyond imagining.)

1 Heh... compared to some of the Japanese game shows I've seen, this sounds pretty mild.

Frankly, it sounds like the transference of popular anime themes to the 'live TV' popular culture.

(Hey, at least they're off the loli kick...)

2 Next might be another game J-list is also offering, Charge! Human Tank, with cute girls as the Human Tanks and dialogue like "Human Tanks aren't allowed to wish for a safe return. Just die a flashy death on the battlefield." One reviewer says, "It’s a weird mix of candy coated hyperactive "moe” madness and soulful ruminations on the socially problematic nature of tanks with minds of their own, and I can’t decide if it’s slightly brilliant or just the dumbest thing that’s ever happened. For whatever it’s worth, though, the translation seems competent."

Since you've posted frame grabs from the Koihime Musou anime, have you looked at the translated game?

3 My experience with Japanese games by this point has been uniformly awful, and now I know that they're not for me. I've tried maybe three or four, and I won't be trying any more.
