It's on my list, but I don't know the series well enough to focus in on any desirable sequences. I thought that ep 3 would have some, but nude Anya surrounded by a helix of colored numbers is probably a bit too NSFW even though it doesn't show anything.

I thought the sequence with Rio being crunched under a big pile of numbers would be good, but it isn't actually animated. Just a pan. I think Princess Lover is the next show I'm going to look through; there's gotta be something good with Charlotte in there.

I looked at Isshoni Training, but the fact is, it didn't really look very good. It's a DVD so the original is only 480p. Worse, DVD rips have to be resized to fix the aspect ratio which makes them look a bit blurry.

I actually captured a sequence from it, but when I looked at it later, it just didn't seem worth it. On the other hand, I think there's a sequence at the beginning of Isshoni Sleeping which I can use.

I believe I've seen that fourth one in non-animated form before.

Maybe a bit different spot in the sequence; I'm not sure if there was a trampled neko-arc in the background or not.  (I may not have been paying attention to the background.)

That thing where some site in China tries to access all kinds of paths looking for somewhere to log in? Starting a few days ago that went into high gear on my home server, and now it's happening several times per day.

Strangely, sometimes it's been the same IP giving it several tries. You'd think that if it fails once they'd mark me off and give up, wouldn't you?

UPDATE: I can't get IE 10 to reload the flash file. Shift-reload doesn't change it, and dumping the cache doesn't help. I can see the new version with Firefox, but that might be an illusion. Can anyone else get version 31? (Maybe I screwed up the upload.)

UPDATE: OK, it's fixed now. But I had to mess with IE10's "when to reload" setting briefly and tell it to always reload instead of "automatically".

UPDATE: Before someone bitches about it: it still only loads an image every other time in Firefox if you click the lower right corner. I still don't have the slightest idea why. I still don't know how to fix it. Please don't bother mentioning this, I already know about it.

1 In case anyone's curious, that's 269 total images from Fairy Tail and its OVAs. The very last episode of Fairy Tail just came out, and I can watch the last 25 episodes now, but I won't try to collect any more images from it.

The fix covered Opera, too, I have v31 now.  And a new image every time.

Odd that firefox and opera behave differently, since both are built on mozilla.

I didn't fix anything.

I think this is Adobe's bug, and maybe they fixed it in their latest flash executable? But maybe not, since it isn't working for me with my version of Firefox.

Anyway, Please let's not talk about this bug.

9 Twitter is....  Well, Twitter posts are limited to 140 characters.  There is the occasional gem of wisdom that can be expressed in 140 characters* but you can count on maybe one gem per million tweets. 

* I had a couple of semi-gems yesterday.  One was "Science is the process of throwing stones at houses to see which are made of glass."  I've forgotten the other; maybe it will come back to me.

13 The main thing I like about Twitter is that it's a good aggregator of some of the news sources I like, with links into the articles.  Also, It's a pretty well anonymized source of OpenID logins for a number of comment systems, like Disqus.

On the other hand, I have facebook blocked at the Hosts file level, just to make sure.

If only it was always that easy - you see politics slipping into the anime industry over the last decade (At least, other than the ones the Japanese politics, which is given, if occasionally irritating.  America as the bad guys in an anime?  Yawn.).  The most prominent example was the anti-war, out of Iraq/Afghanistan album that a bunch of VAs and other production types put together a few years ago.  Pixy might remember it because her reaction to the interview with the founder of the singalong was classic.
