Pulitzer Prize

Today O'Keefe and Giles released video from a fourth incriminating visit to ACORN. And this one, in San Bernardino, apparently is a real prize: one of the women at ACORN talks about shooting and killing her husband, and also about the fact that she used to be a madam and didn't pay taxes at all on the money she made.

That makes four ACORN offices which were sympathetic and helpful to a purported pimp trying to set up a brothel staffed with underaged girls from El Salvador. (Including that last bit was absolutely a stroke of genius, by the way.)

You know, this is the kind of work which, if done by a reporter for a major news outlet, would result in a Pulitzer prize.

But because O'Keefe is independent, or at least because he doesn't work for the NYT, and because ACORN is the target, I bet he won't even be nominated.

I've been waiting for O'Keefe to get a full-blown Joe-the-Plumber take down by the MSM, but it hasn't happened yet. Are they still in "if we ignore this it'll go away" mode? Or worse, "It isn't news because it wasn't in the NYT" mode?

Or does O'Keefe have a flawless background? Maybe they're looking and haven't been able to find anything they can use to discredit him. (Hey, maybe he's used No-doz! Have you guys looked into that?)

UPDATE: Aha! Acorn's latest defense: our people knew they were being played, and decided to play right back!
