Otaku Cafe

Someone named "Overcooled" at Metanorn decided to try to recreate a couple of the recipes from Shokugeki no Soma, and pronounces them "delicious".

1 I did try a little something from the show, which was to marinate pork in raw honey to tenderize it.  I spiced it with sweet paprika, a little sage, garlic powder, salt, and white pepper, then cooked in a cast iron skillet in butter, searing first and then finishing in the oven on low heat.  It came out tasting like a peach marinade, and I then put the whole thing over jasmin rice.

Surprisingly tasty and tender. I think I'll try the fried rice recipe and the Chaliapin steak, because these recipes seem to work pretty well even if the show really doesn't.
