UPDATE: Another thing I noticed, and expected: Bush used to do a radio address every Saturday. They were never reported in the news. AP would publish a transcript each time, and the headline always just said "Text of Bush's radio address". They did their best to bury it entirely.

Today Obama did his own Saturday address to the nation (via Youtube!) and the news reports are all about what he said and how important it was.
