Nightmares

I spent most of the night tossing and turning, having dreams about Clannad. In my dream I figured out the name of the next KyoAni/Key collaboration: "Tearful Tears".

Finally I woke up and puttered around for an hour or so, then went back to bed. And this time I had dreams about Gurren Lagann. Which was better, because Yoko was in them.

Don't give them ideas!

I think we have nightmares about what we truly fear.  As a child, it's monsters.  For me, I very rarely have scary dreams, instead, it's hideously intractable failure cascades, where each step of the solution to the current problem only highlights more problems, to the point where I start to wonder if I'm actually awake.

2 I used to have nightmares about public transportation often. They gradually abated after I moved to America.

3 I didn't even watch Clannad; why am I having dreams about it?

4 That's the evil of the thing.  There's no escape.

I'm really curious- what exactly did you dream about if you haven't seen any of it?

I keep hearing about a game called little busters which may be the next Key/Kyoto collaboration. We also know they are doing more Clannad as there's a kyou special comming with the final dvd (and no doubt Tomoyo After will be after that!)

I don't really remember. Anyway, dreams have a logic all their own and it probably wouldn't have made any sense after waking.

It was something about a quest the guy was involved in, and there were two or three girls who were supposed to help him in the quest, but after a while they all lost interest and stopped. And it turned out that part of his quest was to recruit them again, and each time he did so his power increased. Or something like that. I think there may have been some DBZ elements mixed in.

7 Andy- If they are anything like my dreams, you can dream of something, and have a factual awareness of what your dreams are about, without necessarily being able to peg any identifiable features in the dream.

8 I hate dreams where I get up in the morning. Then I realize I'm dreaming and I'm going to have to just do everything all over again...

9 I usually lucid dream, and often get annoyed with just how little sense they can make at times--which leads to inevitable hijacking and re-writes as I slowly start to wake up and gain more conscious control.

10 I wish I had only dreamed about watching a few episodes of Clannad After.  Instead, there's a part of my life I'll never get back.

11 Dear KyoAni...  I have a great idea for a show for you...

12 You know, I like Kinon. Yoko and Nia are great, of course. Maybe it's the glasses.
