May 9, 1864: Major General John Sedgwick led a Union force at the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House. About 1000 yards away, some Confederate snipers were taking potshots at his force and he tried to rally them. Riding in front of his unit, he said, "Why are you dodging like this? They couldn't hit an elephant at this distance." Moments later he was hit in the head and died instantly.

This episode steals that event, with Tigre being the shooter. His accuracy and range with the bow are little short of supernatural, even when he isn't summoning up the magical power he's been granted, and in this episode he leads a small force in a desperate attack against an enemy twenty times the size. But when Tigre kills the enemy general with a miracle shot, the enemy routs and Tigre wins.

I think I know how this series is going to end. It will eventually come out that Dukes Ganelon and Thenardier have been acting as usurpers. Thenardier will die in battle and Ganelon will be executed as a traitor. The king of Brune will die without an heir, and Tigre will be chosen to become the new king. He will make peace with and alliance with Zhcted (or however they spell it). That's why the title: madan no ou means "archer king". Tigre will become King of Brune by acclamation, not by conquest.

Also the show will not resolve Tigre's love life. And I don't believe for a minute that Roland is actually dead.
