Shingu -- the rewatch

A couple of days ago I suddenly had an urge to rewatch Shingu -- Secret of the Stellar Wars. And I finished it a couple of hours ago.

That really, really was a good show, you know? It's been years since I last watched it, and there are so many things that are right about it.

I do wish the future had been more futuristic, though. 2070 didn't seem so much different than now. But that's a minor carp...

1 Coincidentially, I am rewatching it too, since it went up at Crunchyroll for the season. IMHO it's the best Tatsuo Sato anime -- even better than Nadesico, not to mention Stellvia.

2 Well, now that it's on topic, let me thank you for introducing me to this fine series. There's no chance I would otherwise have encountered it. I believe my sole other unrelated contact with it is that I once saw the DVD set at Best Buy, and, well, even that I only remember because I knew what it was.

3 Saw it first due to your review and bought it because you said Robert had it on sale.

Now Robert is the only place i purchase from. he owes you a serious commission.
