One thing I like about this show is that it tosses in moments like that, just in passing. There's a legitimate reason why Elizabeth and Meliodas are in bed together and a legitimate reason why he's tied up. (She didn't tie him up.)

Likewise, in episode 3 he stole her panties. And it wasn't because he's a perv. There turned out to be a legitimate reason why he did it, and once that was revealed, he gave them back.

They don't overdo it; it hasn't happened very many times. But it's always funny when it happens. (If they overdid it then it would start feeling contrived and would be annoying. Clearly the director understands restraint.)
