This week's eyecatch is Leo dressed in Yuki's clothes.
This episode was a lot of fun. Definitely a change of pace, for one thing, because it wasn't about the heroes. Leo is old enough to get married (I think the canon is that she's 16) and clearly is physically mature enough for it -- and has been for a long time. So every year they hold an arranged-marriage meeting.
But it isn't quite what you expect. Leo announces that she will seriously consider any marriage proposal from a man who can beat her in single combat. The yearly meetings are actually opportunities for combat, with men from all over the continent showing up to take her on.
She isn't contemptuous to anyone; she's polite and nice. But she doesn't hold back when fighting, and defeats a whole lot of them easily and rapidly. Then it's this guy's turn.
He refuses to identify himself. He's also quite small, much shorter than Leo herself. But he's the only one who gives her any kind of real fight. She becomes convinced that she knows him, so she decides she'll destroy his cloak and force him to reveal himself.
He is Prince Leaf, of the nation from which Vert originally hails. She's actually distantly related to him. And it turns out that Leo and Leaf are friends; she spent a bunch of time training him in combat skills when he was very small. The battle continues:
And eventually Leo does defeat him, leaving him face down and unconscious wearing only his underwear. But...
He, in turn, stripped Leo of every stitch. We've never seen that happen before. We've seen her lose her armor, twice, but never her clothing. Leo, needless to say, is very impressed.
After the combat is over, there's a party.
And Vert accompanies Prince Leaf at the party, since he's a long way from home and still very young.

The bow on Leo was a really nice touch. Plus some ribbing from Milhi & Couverte was funny.
And the entire collection of dresses at the end was great.
All told, a pretty fun time.

The ribbon on Leo did seem a bit out of character.

Would their kids turn into spaceships?

Someone asked Rumiko Takahashi (author of Ranma 1/2) what would happen if Ranma in girl form got pregnant.
She answered, "I don't think about such things, and neither should you." I think that response applies to this, too.
(But if you insist on doing so, I think the hand-wave answer is that any given kid would either look like his mom or look like his dad. No mixing or hybridization.)

(And I love that Takahashi quote.)
