Dog Days 2 -- couple of pictures

This is Leo-sama's palace. (It isn't really a castle; it isn't designed to be a military work.) With all that amazing stone work, they didn't put in a paved road leading to it? Everyone coming or going has to walk through dust or mud, depending on weather conditions?

And then there was this one, which probably already decorates thousands of Windows desktop backgrounds. It sure looks like it was intended for that, doesn't it?

UPDATE: Nanami was a bit part in the first series, but this time she's one of the leads. I have to say I like her a lot. But I was thinking that it's really appropriate that she got summoned by the felines, because she always seems to land on her feet. She sure got a grip rapidly after she was summoned, and she's never been off balance since.

She did have one advantage over Shinku in that regard: she knew he'd been there before, so she knew it was OK. He didn't have that assurance the first time. Even so, she's gotten oriented amazingly rapidly, and is enchanting everyone in Galette as fast as she can.

It isn't really too surprising that she's fallen in with the Genoise, or that they're getting along so well. Of course, the Genoise are aware that Nanami is Leo's special guest, but I think it's more than just obligatory kindness. She really fits right in with them. (Besides, she pets them and they love that.)

1 Well, concerning the palace, it's obvious they've used a textured, colored concrete designed to LOOK like a grass-bordered dirt path.  Part of that whole "natural" look alternate-dimensional beings are so fond of now-a-days.

2 The skyscraper on the left looks like Leo's datacenter, TV studio, and communication swift facility.

3 Considering the general schizotech aspect of it all, you could be right, Pete.
