Wow, I think Burn Up! had more plot. In fact, I'm sure of it.

I don't know about BurnUp, but BurnUpW really soured me.
It began seeming like it was comedy but before it was over at least one of the girls ended up dead. That was the series that made "dead girls" one of my reject mnemonics.

Never watched past the original Burn Up! which was pretty much comedy and fan service. And the source of one of the most embarassing moments of my adult life.
Mom was living with me at the time, having sold her house a few months earlier. I was down in my media room, watching Burn Up!, with my headphones on. Along comes one of the more fan servicy scenes,
Maki is, outraged, saying, "You want me to do a", I lean back just a little too far, the headphone plug pulls out, and "NUDE BUNGEE JUMP!" pounds out through the house thanks to my 300 watt speakers.
I don't think mom bought my story that it came as a surprise to me, too.

Red Half-rim Glasses watch -- Shinmai Maou no Testament
This is the school nurse in Shinmai Maou no Testament. I'm going through it now looking for plunder. As usual in cases like this I'm doing it backwards, and the last few episodes don't have a lot I can use, mainly because I don't use censored images, post-MCSA images, rape images or torture images. (Yikes.) But I think I can get away with this one:
I assume I'll get a lot more stuff the closer I get to the beginning of the series. But this won't be a fruitful as some have been.
UPDATE: Other things I avoid: guys, tears, dirt, blood, girls looking terrified, girls crying; it's really cutting down on the selection, I tell you.
UPDATE: Down to ep 3 now, and I'm getting images I can use.
Mio is almost gross, almost Maken-ki sized. Not quite; she's just short of the line. Of course, her figure is superhuman, but that's what you'd expect from a demon, isn't it?

Ai burst onto the scene as a chubby-cheeked 14-year-old (now 23), which is not quite as terrifying as finding early pictures of Saaya Irie, who started her career as a big-bust model at age 11.
I blame the increased popularity of fast food in Japan. No, wait, I praise it. Daily.

Well, canonically Lucy is about 19 now (at the leading edge of the manga), so I don't have to feel guilty. (Depends on how you count; could be 26 if you include a certain event...)
I think she was supposed to be about 17 (or 24) in the picture above.

how-old.net says 19, which is probably about right (not sure exactly when that picture was taken, but it's not one of her earliest photos). It refused to comment on how old Lucy is in that image.

Google Image search has custom date ranges, and I was able to find a copy of that picture posted in November, 2009, making her 17. She didn't really lose the baby fat in her cheeks for another year or so; honestly, she did so many magazine covers that you could probably track it down to the week.
The earliest pictures I've ever seen of her are from Danny Choo, when he decided to investigate group photo shoots (and posted some more a day later). She was a few months shy of turning 15 at the time.

Just found a shot of Hiroko Sato that gives a decent match for Lucy's shape. I prefer Ai's "built for comfort" look, personally, but I wouldn't kick her out of the pool.

Well, folks, Ikki Tousen has never been subtle, and with this 2-episode OVA they give us what we expect: energy attacks and lots of MCSA's.

I just realized I never posted about the third omake! (The other three are a waste of time.) Omake 1 was mud wrestling (NSFW), and omake 2 was jello (NSFW). Omake 3 is boiling water and crushed ice! (Do I need to say that this one is also NSFW?)

Funimation is a first rate, second rate Anime company. One hand there doesn't know what the other is doing, so asking why they do something and expecting a rational answer is setting the bar pretty high.

It seems to be happening long after the TV series, because there are a lot of schools involved. Five girls from each school, and when they meet they seem to view one another as rivals but not as blood enemies. Which suits me fine; I don't want to see girls getting sliced up.
Girls from four schools all receive an invitation for an all-expenses-paid visit to a particular indoor water park on the same day at the same time. NSFW below the fold.

Fapservice finally got to this one. Their coverage is far more comprehensive than mine, and includes animated GIF files of some of the more amazing parts.
This was the ATX broadcast. It's going to show up on BD in like May or June IIRC, as a bonus in a manga collection at that time. What I wonder is if they're going to remove more of the steam and include more nipples? I guess only time will tell.
